Samantha Hasani helps leaders and institutions use data to better understand evolving challenges facing American democracy and democracy at large.

At More in Common, she applies a mixed-methods approach to address America’s polarization crisis, ensuring that public opinion research remains grounded in a people-centered lens. Her work focuses on how individuals articulate their political needs and desires—not just what Americans think, but why.

A California native, Samantha holds a B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Data Science from Stanford University. She is a graduate of the Center on Democracy, Development and the Rule of Law and the Hoover National Security Affairs Fellows Mentorship Program.
