Safaa Garelnabi Africa 2023

Safaa Garelnabi a Public Health professional with a Master of Science in Nutrition for Global Health attained at The London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, UK, and a BSc. Food Science and Technology attained at Monash University, Malaysia.

Safaa is passionate about solving public health issues and youth empowerment.

Over the last 7 years, Safaa has been at the forefront of strengthening health systems in various regions of Uganda. As a Global Health Corps (GHC) alumna, Safaa manages health systems projects and has experience in sexual reproductive health and rights (SRHR) interventions.

Safaa manages the GHC-alumni SRHR & gender-based violence coalition project in which she supports the role of training packages for girls and young women in making reusable sanitary pads and empowering girls and young women to earn an income.

Outside of public health, Safaa has 5 years of experience tutoring GCSE Maths, English Language, and English Literature online to students in the United Kingdom, which attribute to her training and communication skills.
