Rishi Shah Global 2026
Rishi Shah is an Army Cyber Warfare Officer assigned to US Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM). He is currently with the USCYBERCOM AI Task Force leading its work to counter AI threats. He is passionate about integrating the use of emerging technology into operations.
Rishi has served as the Chief of Current Operations of a Joint Task Force within the Cyber National Mission Force and completed intensive training to become a Cyberspace Operator. In addition to his role as a Cyber Warfare Officer, Rishi served as a White House Military Social Aide where from 2023 to 2025 he assisted in the execution of state functions and diplomatic events such as the NATO summit, President Carter’s State Funeral, a Presidential Inauguration, and multiple state visits.
Prior to his assignment with USCYBERCOM, Rishi was selected as a Lincoln Laboratory Military Fellow where he earned an M.Eng. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) designing a Computer Vision-enabled tool for US Army Special Operations Command combat medics. While pursuing his graduate degree Rishi was a student representative to MIT’s Board of Trustees and spearheaded the creation of a panel with Eric Schmidt and MIT’s President on innovation across military, academic, and private sector partnerships.
Rishi commissioned into active duty through the MIT ROTC program while earning a B.S. in Computer Science. At MIT he grew his passion for human-centric technology and community engagement, minored in Political Science and Cognitive Science, and helped start the SOCOM IGNITE hackathon program.
