Michael specializes in scaling public health interventions and leveraging emerging technologies to drive impact in global development. In his current role as Associate Director at Evidence Action, he built and leads the organization’s $55 million technical assistance program to scale safe water technologies across India. He supports a government initiative to provide every rural household with a tap water connection and collaborates with leading economists and industry professionals to build the market.
Previously, Michael served as a U.S. Marine Corps Civil Affairs Officer, where he helped establish a unit focused on countering disinformation and misinformation across the Indo-Pacific. He also worked as a Logistics Officer for the United Nations World Food Program in South Sudan, supporting one of the world’s largest humanitarian operations.
Michael holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, where he was a member of Columbia University’s International Fellows Program, and a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Boston University.
