Mackenzie is a Principal Strategic Advisor for the Christchurch Call Foundation, an organization devoted to eliminating terrorist and violent extremist content online. She researches and advises on policies that can be adopted in pursuit of this aim without compromising human rights and fundamental freedoms, including freedom of expression.

Prior to joining the Christchurch Call Foundation, Mackenzie spent over 4 years at Digital Public Square, a not-for-profit based in Toronto, Canada. At Digital Public Square she worked on a wide range of projects related to countering mis/disinformation and promoting social cohesion. She holds a Masters of Global Affairs from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Towson University. When she is not at work, you can certainly find her at the nearest golf course!
