Lione Alushula currently serves as the Strategic Outreach & Engagement Lead for Sub-Saharan Africa at Google.

Prior to joining Google, Lione served as a Co-Founder at Nash (a YC backed startup) solving for fair financial products in Africa. Among other roles, Lione served as Tech Policy Specialist at the Central Bank of Kenya focused on fintech policy and enabling a conducive environment for financial innovation. He also worked as an Analytics Consultant at KPMG Kenya.

Lione earned an MPP from the University of Oxford and a BSc in Computer Science & Informatics from Strathmore University.
