Heta Heiskanen is a Senior Specialist in Ministry of the Environment in Finland and a Secretary General for Climate Change Panel. Her work includes national, EU and international climate policy and law related tasks. Prior to her current work, she did her PhD on environmental human rights and specialized also in rights of indigenous peoples in environmental decision making, She was also closely engaged with various NGO´s and their work related to environment and human rights. On her free time she is Editor in Chief for a scientific legal journal Oikeus. She also enjoy making music and other arts projects for better planet.
