Fatima Airan specializes in utilizing research findings to drive impactful policy changes in conflict and conflict-affected contexts. She has over three years of experience working with the government of Afghanistan and various research institutes, where she contributed to policy recommendations until the collapse of the Afghan Republic.

Fatima holds a master’s degree from the University of Oxford, where she was a Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Trust Scholar and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the American University of Central Asia.
