Arianit Pllana is an Investment Banking Associate at SB1 Markets in Norway, where he works as a generalist across sectors and is passionate about helping high-growth companies scale and access capital.
Prior to joining SB1 Markets, he worked in the capital markets team at T1 Energy (formerly Freyr Battery), a company developing industrial-scale clean battery solutions to accelerate the global energy transition. Earlier, he served as a financial analyst at Magnus Carlsen’s chess startup, Play Magnus Group, contributing to its international expansion and eventual acquisition by Chess.com.
Beyond finance, Pllana has a strong interest in geopolitics, innovation, and technology. He is a member of His Royal Highness The Crown Prince of Norway’s SIKT network, and has participated in several international leadership initiatives, including the Atlantic Council’s Millennium Leadership Initiative (MLI) in Washington D.C., the Rising Leaders Program organized by the U.S. Embassy and AmCham Norway, and the Arctic Frontiers Emerging Leaders Program in Tromsø.
He holds a BSc in Finance from BI Norwegian Business School and an MSc in Finance from Imperial College London. In 2022, he was recognized as the youngest professional on Kapital’s prestigious “40 under 40” list in Norway.
