At SpaceX, Drew spearheaded market entry for Starlink’s satellite internet, securing licensing approvals in Bhutan, Timor-Leste, and South Korea. Previously at Meta, he ensured compliance for rural fiber deployments in Indonesia, Pakistan, and Bangladesh. He has held senior roles at the US-ASEAN Business Council and The Asia Foundation, fostering U.S.-Asia tech partnerships.
Drew holds a Master’s in International Policy—focusing on digital technologies—from Stanford University, a Bachelor’s in International Relations and Asian Area Studies from the University of Pennsylvania, and served as a Fulbright Scholar in Malaysia. He speaks Japanese and Malay, bridging cultures to promote equitable technological progress.
