Anand Raghuraman is a Director at Mastercard, where he helps shape the company’s thought leadership and global government engagement strategy at the intersection of technology, geopolitics, and trade. Anand is also a core team member with the Mastercard Policy Center for the Digital Economy.
Prior to joining Mastercard, Anand was a Vice President at the international advisory firm The Asia Group. In this capacity, he helped lead the firm’s client servicing and market expansion in South Asia and advised multinationals navigating India’s dynamic technology policy landscape.
Alongside his work at Mastercard, Anand is a Nonresident Fellow at the Atlantic Council South Asia Center, serving on its flagship U.S.-India Digital Economy Task Force and publishing commentary on U.S.-India trade and technology cooperation. Anand was previously a Rising Leader with the Aspen Strategy Group, a New Bridge Fellow with the Atlantik Brücke, and a Fulbright ETA grantee based in Turkey.
Anand graduated summa cum laude from Duke University with a bachelor’s degree in political science.
