Ana is a strategic communications professional with an MA from King’s College London and over 18 years of experience, including six years specializing in digital strategies. She leverages communication to empower citizens, mobilize communities, and advocate for human rights, media literacy, and social justice.
Ana has directed communications at organizations such as the Open Society Foundations, the Council of Europe, and the Media Advocacy Coalition of Georgia, leading integrated campaigns and applying data-driven insights to enhance outreach and impact.
As a Democracy Tech Entrepreneur Fellow, Ana founded VINICI, an award-winning AI-powered platform that promotes informed voting and political transparency. Recognized at the Copenhagen Democracy Summit 2024, VINICI offers two key products to engage young audiences: in-depth politician profiles and a chatbot trained in political content.
Ana is also deeply involved in researching propaganda and developing strategies to counter disinformation. Her innovative approaches to fostering critical thinking and combating misinformation reflect her strong commitment to strengthening democracy and resisting authoritarian influence.
