Alice Billon-Galland Global 2026

Alice Billon-Galland is a foreign policy analyst currently established in Brussels, Belgium. Her research focuses on a wide range of issues linked to Euro-Atlantic security and defence. She currently works at the NATO Headquarters in Brussels. Before that, she worked as a Research Fellow at Chatham House, the Royal Institute of International Affairs in London, between 2019 and 2023, where she led the European defence research programme. From 2017 to 2019, she worked as a Policy Fellow on European security and defence at the European Leadership Network (ELN) in London. Alice was one of the 14 NATO Young Leaders selected by Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg to advise the NATO 2030 process, which led to the adoption of NATO’s 2022 Strategic Concept. Alice studied at École Normale Supérieure (France), Northwestern University (US), and University College London (UK). She speaks French, English, Spanish and some conversational German.
