Aaron Chee is a Singaporean diplomat whose career has been shaped by a deep interest in the forces transforming global affairs. In his current role, he provides strategic insights and medium- to long-term policy recommendations to senior government leaders. His work focuses on cross-cutting issues with significant implications for foreign policy, including technology, energy, and climate change.

Over the past decade, Aaron has represented Singapore in its diplomatic missions in Indonesia and Malaysia, where he worked on diverse portfolios – from political and economic reporting to cross-border energy collaboration, development partnerships, and public diplomacy. He also served in the Prime Minister’s Office, contributing to strategic planning at the whole-of-government level.

Aaron graduated from the University of Oxford with a Bachelor’s degree in economics and management, and holds a Master’s degree in political science from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations.
