Hanae Bezad is an impact entrepreneur and investor, international project manager, board advisor, curator, and the author of Being Other, a personal reflection on culture, gender, and identity. Her expertise spans government and international development institutions, civil society, and business. At the heart of her work is a passion for the intersection of technology, sustainability, inclusion, entrepreneurship, and international development, alongside championing the rise of creative feminine leadership.
Born and raised in Morocco, Hanae has worked and traveled across Europe, Africa, the Americas, and Asia, developing and nurturing tech-enabled creative ventures with diverse communities and organizations. She is passionate about supporting the emerging leadership movement among Black, Indigenous, and Women of Color (BIWOC), fostering emerging entrepreneurs, investors, philanthropists, and nurturing cultural innovators who are driving global impact.
As of January 2025, Hanae has joined Boann Social Impact as Director of Market Development. In this role, she is dedicated to supporting first-time fund managers from equity-deserving groups in Canada and overseeing the creation of a go-to platform for all things social finance in Canada.
