Rashi Dhanani heads the business development for the Duolingo English Test in India, where she focuses on a range of entrepreneurial endeavors to disrupt and engage the study abroad ecosystem to increase the access available to learners. Rashi was previously a Senior Project Manager on the EdTech desk at Central Square Foundation, an education impact-focused Indian philanthropy funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. During her time here, Rashi advised governments on their EdTech policies. She ideated and led the EdTech Tulna initiative that re-imagined how EdTech procurement can be more transparent and effective. While Rashi started her career in technology consulting in London, she has spent the majority of her time in India applying tech-based scalable solutions within the domain of education to drive impact. She has a B.S.C in Economics, Econometrics, and Finance from York University, UK, and an MSc. in Finance from Imperial College Business School, UK.
