Tomaz Vicente is an economist, a specialist in public management, and an alumnus of the Vetor Brasil Network. The focus of his work has been to help governments innovate in their services through the integration of new technologies and citizen participation. Using WhatsApp chatbots, he has already assisted governments in listening to over 200,000 people to improve their public services. Tomaz has worked in global strategic consulting firms and conducted research projects for international social impact institutions including the UN. He has been involved in the design and implementation of educational policies alongside the Ministry of Education and has served as a facilitator for design workshops for innovation projects. He is the author of the book “Agile Design for Social Innovation” (UNDP and Brazilian School of Public Administration) and “Open Innovation in Practice”. He is currently the executive director of Catálise Social.
