Márton Gulyás is a lifelong activist committed to critical media and journalism and theatre and film arts. As such, be has been involved in sevaral projects since high school.

Most notably, Márton acted as Executive Director of Krétakör, an independent theatre and multimedia art company between 2010 and 2014, where he produced and directed several shows.

Since 2015, he has been working on creating engaging critical content published on online platform, mainly YouTube. Following a few years experimenting, he created Partizán, a critical media organization, of which he remains editor-in-chief and is currently his main occupation.

His activism is mostly directed at countering social and economical injustices, discrimination and political corruption. He has organized and participated in several protest movements and organizations since 2010, most notably Human Platform and Közös Ország Mozgalom (Common Country Movement).

Since the inception of Partizán, his editorial policy has been to continuously present and critically discuss injustices and struggles based on social and class or minority status, and to counter prejudices against women, ethnic and sexual minorities.
