Lorena Muñoz Carmona is a business and human rights specialist with a multidisciplinary background and a strong international profile. Her previous professional experience includes roles in the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and diverse NGOs and human rights organizations such as Caritas, the Norwegian Centre for Human Rights or Business for Peace Foundation. Lorena holds a master’s degree in the Theory of Practice of Human Rights from the University of Oslo and currently works as Sustainability & Partnership Manager at Bright Products. In her role, she works closely with UN organizations and other humanitarian actors to ensure access to solar light and energy in displacement settings. Lorena also conducts independent research on the intersection between business, human rights and sustainable development.
