Justin Bryant North America 2023

Justin Bryant’s background spans the intersection of technology, law, and global policy, as he seeks to help companies across the world convert digital regulations into advantages on the product side. He has a unique skill set in privacy, cybersecurity, business operations, and product. His experiences have brought him to the founding team of a fintech startup, a top tech law firm, as well big tech companies. His work also takes a strong people-centered approach, whether it be helping mobility companies build privacy-enhancing features into IoT technologies for a smart city in Japan, or creating digital tools for residents of the African continent to exercise their rights under new data protection laws. He serves on the board of People-Centered Internet, a nonprofit working to ensure that the Internet serves to improve the lives and well-being of people around the world.

Justin holds a B.A. in Public Policy from Duke University, an MSc in Global Affairs from Tsinghua University—where he was a Schwarzman Scholar, an LL.M in European and International Business Law from the University of Vienna, and a J.D. from Stanford Law School. He was selected as a Salzburg-Cutler Fellow in International Law and Public Service for his research on digital rights and data protection in Africa and is a Certified Information Privacy Professional- Europe (CIPP-E).
