Jasmine Haddaway The Americas 2024

Jasmine Haddaway is a Watch Officer in the U.S. Department of State’s Operations Center, the agency’s 24/7 crisis communication and management center. In this role, she alerts senior leaders of late-breaking world events, prepares briefings for Department principals, and facilitates communication between the Department and the rest of the world. Jasmine is a career Foreign Service Officer, previously serving in Brazil, South Africa, and the Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs. Her work focuses on disinformation mitigation, strategic communication, national security, and technology policy. In addition to her Department of State experience, Jasmine advanced economic development and technology policy at the U.S. House of Representatives, coordinated stakeholder engagement at the White House, and facilitated community disaster preparedness at the American Red Cross. Jasmine is from Orlando, Florida, and holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida and a Master of Public Affairs from Princeton University.
