Hanna Zinner coordinates the EU’s international digital policy and research and innovation policies in the Secretariat-General of the European Commission. Previously, she worked in the European Commission on artificial intelligence and the screening of foreign direct investment. Hanna studied international relations in Germany and China, and has a master’s degree in international political economy from Sciences Po and LSE. As a Mercator Fellow for International Relations, Hanna worked for a year on diverging approaches to digital governance between the EU and China.
