Elizabeth Landers North America 2023

Liz Landers is the chief political correspondent for Vice News where she has worked since April 2019. Prior to Vice News, she worked for CNN in New York and Washington, D.C. She covered the 2016 campaign trail for CNN, embedding on the Bernie Sanders and Mike Pence campaigns. In 2017, she began covering the Trump White House and she finished her time at CNN as a Capitol Hill reporter and producer. Since she started at Vice as a correspondent, she’s interviewed Vice President Kamala Harris, Cabinet secretaries, senators and congress members, presidential candidates, and voters around America. She won an Emmy in September 2021 for her contribution to Vice News Tonight, the evening news broadcast that was recognized as the Outstanding Newscast during 2020.

Liz earned a B.A. in political science from Tufts University in 2013. She is from Tallahassee, FL and currently resides in Washington, D.C.
