Dan Nagayama is an entrepreneur and investor.

As an entrepreneur, Dan has co-founded C1X Inc., a California-based data and digital marketing company with a presence in India and Japan. Dan is also a Co-founder of Orgfarm Inc., an India-based direct-to-consumer company for connecting organic farmers with consumers. Dan was also a co-founder of KonMari Media Inc., a startup by tidying star Marie Kondo.

As an investor, Dan has invested in a number of startups both in the United States and Japan. He has also served as Venture Partner and Director of Japan at Arbor Ventures, a leading fintech venture capital firm based in Singapore.

Dan has also served as an advisor to several large Japanese companies as well as advisor to a Japanese Member of the House of Representatives and has been involved in foreign relations between Japan and other countries.

Dan received his B.Eng., M.Eng. and Ph.D. from the University of Tokyo, where he was awarded the Presidential Award in 2010 and was the Graduate School Valedictorian in 2013.

Dan is a member of the Japan Mensa Society, is a second-degree black belt in Karate and a Green Belt in Krav Maga.
