Clara Rowe works as an independent consultant, driving innovation in carbon standards for reforestation and conservation to meet the needs of next-generation carbon markets. Clara was the founding CEO of Restor, a science-based digital platform supporting and accelerating the restoration of Earth’s ecosystems. Previously, she worked in supply chain sustainability in Latin America, engaging large consumer goods companies, plantation owners, and smallholder farmers in order to design and implement solutions to protect forests and respect human rights. Clara was born in the U.S., grew up in Costa Rica, and after stints in Mexico, Cameroon, and Switzerland, recently returned home to New England. Clara holds a bachelor’s in biology and environmental studies from Amherst College and a master’s of environmental management from the Yale School of the Environment.
