Dr. Ana Lucic is a Researcher on the AI for Science team at Microsoft Research Amsterdam, where she works on developing machine learning methods for molecular simulation.

Prior to Microsoft Research, Ana was a Research Fellow at the Partnership on AI, a global non-profit organization aimed at developing best practices for responsible deployment of AI applications. Her research focused on evaluating explainable machine learning methods for healthcare applications in low-resource settings. She also worked in financial risk modeling before returning to academia to pursue her PhD.

Ana holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Amsterdam, along with an MSc in Mathematics, and a BSc in Mathematics and Statistics, both from McMaster University in Canada.
