Alwyn Spencer is a senior government official in the UK currently focused on the political economy implications of advanced technologies, including the consequences for both domestic and international policy.

He has previous experience of international institutions, international economics, international trade, regional policy, infrastructure strategy, and anti-corruption. He has also worked at the World Trade Organization and the European Commission.

Alwyn holds an MA in International Political Economy from the University of Warwick, is a Fellow of the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs, and is an Affiliated Researcher at the Bennett Institute for Public Policy.
