Zoe is Co-Founder & Deputy Executive Director of the Tech Policy Design Institute, Australia’s first independent think tank dedicated to technology policy.
Zoe brings together a broad range of perspectives, with experience in foreign affairs, politics, big tech, and research. During her time in the Australian Government, Zoe advised Cabinet Ministers and Ambassadors; developed national tech strategy and legislation; and represented Australia’s tech interests in diplomatic contexts around the world. Previously, Zoe managed Amazon’s digital public policy strategy in Australia and New Zealand, and represented the company in a number of international organisations. A think tanker at heart, Zoe started her career at the Australian Strategic Policy Institute.
Zoe is a Research Associate at the University of Oxford and her work has been covered by TIME Magazine, the Economist, Politico, and Vogue.
Zoe has an MSc in Social Science of the Internet from the Oxford Internet Institute at the University of Oxford, and a Bachelor of International and Global Studies from the University of Sydney.
