Slavina Ancheva Global 2025

Slavina Ancheva is pursuing a Master in Public Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School as a Fulbright Bulgaria Scholar and Belfer Young Leader. During her time at the Kennedy School, Slavina is focusing on AI policy, emerging technologies, and geopolitics. She is a research assistant at the Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Business and Government and the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs.

Slavina worked in the European Parliament for four years as a Policy Adviser and Head of Office for Member of the European Parliament (MEP) Eva Maydell. Slavina led MEP Maydell’s work on the Artificial Intelligence Act, the world’s first-ever comprehensive law on AI. She also led the work on the EU Digital Services Act, coordinated the efforts of a team based in both Brussels and Bulgaria, and spearheaded the transatlantic efforts and engagements of MEP Maydell.

In Bulgaria, Slavina is a co-founder of Accessible World, an NGO focusing on disability rights and the accessibility of public spaces.
