Kaene Disepo is a visionary leader with over eight years of experience in public affairs, governance, sustainability, and youth empowerment. A trusted advisor to senior government officials, the diplomatic corps, and international organizations, he shapes policy reforms and strategic frameworks that drive inclusive development.

As Youth Engagement Lead for Botswana’s National Mindset Change Campaign, he has transformed youth participation in policymaking, spearheading initiatives such as the Mindset Change Community Business Ideathon and supporting the development of 155 businesses across 31 districts.

He is also the Founder of Change Africa, an award-winning social enterprise advancing renewable energy and sustainability. Through Change Africa, he has led flagship initiatives including Debating Botswana, Botswana’s National Renewable Energy Week, the inaugural National Clean Cooking Campaign, the Renewable Energy Leadership Exchange, and the Lesedi Impact Fund, which aims to mobilize BWP 100 million for clean energy projects.

An LSE alumnus, Kaene holds an MSc in Development Management and a BSc in International Relations. Recognized among Britain’s Top 100 Young Leaders of African & Caribbean Descent, he has also delivered a TEDx Talk in Germany.
