Fergus Linley-Mota Global 2025

Fergus leads the Dialogue on Technology Project (DoT), housed at Simon Fraser University’s Wosk Centre for Dialogue in Vancouver, Canada, where he works to advance more inclusive and public-engaged approaches to AI governance. His past work spans the worlds of climate governance, democratic resilience and photojournalism. Fergus holds an MSc in Global Governance & Diplomacy from the University of Oxford, where he studied the intersection of technology and politics. He grew up in East Vancouver, on the unceded territories of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh First Nations.
